MILK-RECORD AYRSHIRES.
THE CLEMENTS PRESENTS. Tho five milk-record Ayrshire bulls, presented to several Slew Zealand dairy companies by Messrs. A, Clements and of Scotland, wero released from quarantine last week, and forwarded to the dairy companies to which they liavo been presented. Tho Dalelield Dairy Company is to liavo Ketherton Macvicar (9538). Sire, Netliorton Midland, dam Nethertou Queen Victoria, whoso record last year was 1058 gallons of 4.28 per cent, butter-fat, whilo this year her record will bo over 1000 gallons of 4.3 per cent. Her dam's record at 2} years old was 87-1 gallons of 4.2 per cent. - 'JL'lio Rongokokako Co-operativo Dairy Company is to liavo Netliertou MacNoilago (95534). Sire Notherton Midland, dam Glassock Nellie 11, which as a quey gave 955 gallons of 3.51 butter-fat. Her dam, Old iN'ollie, is described as one of the best cows at Nethertou, if not in Scotland. Sho gained lier first prize at Fenwick Show with a record of 1200 gallons of 3.92 per cent., and was still fresh and doing well. The Norsewood Co-operative Dairy Company .is to have Nethertou. Good Rule (9532). Sire Good Gift, dam Red Rose, a half-sister of King Arthur. She is a big-framed cow with great teats, and as a three-year-old gavo 903 gallons, of 3.38 per cent, butter-fat. Her dam's record was 920 gallons of 3.5 per ,cent. in 39 weeks. 1 Tho Jlells Co-operative Dairy Company is to liave Netherton Mactaggart (9535), by Netlierton Midland, dam Wyllieland Tina IV; which in her first lactation gave 90-1 gallons of 3.G per cent. 'Since then she has lot a quarter, and yet with this handicap last year sho gave the splendid yield of 979 gallons. Tho Mangorei Co-operative Dairy Company is to have Ncthertotf King Jerry (9533), by King Arthur, dam Culcraigie Janette, a great milker, which in 1910 gave 992 gallons of 3.G2 per cent, butterfat. In 1911 slie gavo 1262 gallons, and this year in forty weeks she had given 1115 gallons, and was still at 241b. a day. x
