Kebty-Fletcher, M.P., at Ilford, publicly repeated, in responso to Mr. Lloyd-George's challenge, tho question put to the Chancellor of the Exchequer at the Marconi Contract Committee's inquiry—namely, whether Mr. LloydGeorgo's salary was insufficient to prevent hig gambling on the Stock 'Exchange< When Mr. Kebty-Fletcher, who is Conservative member .of tho Bouso of Com- . mons for the Aitrincliam Division of Cheshire, put tho question to Mr. LloyclGeorgo at the committee inquiry, the Chancellor hotly replied: "You had better say that in <i place whero it would eiifc jeet you to a prosecution. Then I will meet you as I havo met others." An 'angry sccno followed, labour members and others calling Mr. Kebty-Fletcher "a dirty snob." Mr. Lloyd-Georga called out "Cad!" . .
