Grace against the Auckland Gas Company, in which compensation was claimed for the' loss of one eye, Mr. Mays contended that to all intents Anpi purposes the fight of tlio eyo had been destroyed. Mr. Richmond, for tho defence, said that; for all eye to bo useless it must be sightless, whereas the plaintiff could partly' see.
