MINISTERS IN TARANAKI.
A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. (By Telegraph.—Pres» Ajsnociation.) , New Plymouth, April 5. The Premier (the Hon. W. F. Masscy) and tho Minister for. Public Works (the Hon. W. leaser) were entertained at a banquet last night by tho Borough Council, County Council, and Chamber of Commerce. It was the best gathering of its land held looally for v«ry many years. This morning Mr. Fraser left 'for Wellington, and Mr. Masscy visits Waitara, Ingiewood, and tho North Egmont Mountain House.
