James Joseph Loaudor Burke, Examiner «f Titles,. Wellington. Arthur Harry Holmes, clerk of tho Magistrate's Court, Wellington. Arthur Marryatt, Government Lifo Insurance Department, Wellington. William Theodore Morpeth, draughtsman and surveyor. Department of Lands and Survey, Auckland. Frederick John Mouat, clerk and (solicitor, Department of Lauds and Survey, ' t>unedill. John Henry O'Dounell, Receiver of Land Revenue, Auckland. Henry Hubert Ostler, Assistant Law Officer, Wellington. Henry Roberts, Government Printing and Stationery Office, Wellington. As onlj; two of the abovo can bo returned, it will be seen that there is a lively interest in tho service over tho election. In addition to tho above, Mr. Alex. Mill has been, returned unopposed to re-, present tho Telegraph branch of tho Post'' and Telegraph Department. Messrs. Francis M. Scully, of the Post Office, Now Plymouth, and Louis Andrews, of tho Chief Post Office, Dune<lin, havo been nominated for tlio Postal branch's representative. The voting will close on May 5, and the result of the elections will not bo known, until May 15.
