Tho polioo searched tho locality of tho Takapnna shooting * sensation, and found a revolver in tho scrub on llio sido of the road—a Bevon-chauibered weapon, of 22 calibre. The ■ character of tho weapon adds to tho marvel that tho injuries inflicted wero so slight. Tho condition of I'crey Skcates to-day is less favourable, but fatal results are not apprehended.
