The, underwriters' losses in connection with the Are on the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Turakina are now estimated at .4300,000. The water has reached the wool cargo. There is four feet of water in No. 4 hold. The meat in No. 2 hold is useless, while the cheeso in No. 3 is valueless.
