♦— - I'-ROPOSED VISIT TO WEST COAST. (By Telegraph.—Spec!n 1 Correspondent..) Hokitika, March 7. At, this evening's mooting of the Mrcstland branch of the New Zealand Political Keform League, the fchairiiian explained that the Hon. "\Y. F ; Massoy would ho visiting Canterbury in the course of a fendays, and that ,ho would W able to give three or four days to a Visit to the West Coast at the conclusion of the Canterbury tour. 111'.' llassey, however, suggested that it would be more convenient for him to defer his visit to the West Coast until the next recess, when he would probably have more time at his disposal. It'was unanimously decided tlint iu view of the generally expressed desire that the l'rimo Minister should visit South Westland, Mr. Massey's suggestion .should be adopted, and _ that he be asked to defer his visit until ne'xt recess, when it was hoped lie would be able to visit the. various parts pf the West Copst.
Tlio Hon. W. H. Horries, Minister for Railways, Trill visit Westlahd about the middle of next month on Departmental business. The Minister will bo entertained at Hokitika by tho local branch of the Reform League.
