Mr. Daniel H'Clill, who visited London in connection with a flax-dressing proposition, left for New Zealand by the Ruahino on Friday. Mr. Joseph Feil, medallist and prizeman of the lioyal Societv o* Arts, gave a lecture recently to n largo audience at the Railway Institute, York, on "A Trip to A'ew Zealand." Miss Ethel M. Standish, of New Plymouth, who has been in tho South of Ensland, lias come to London to study masSage at the London School of Massage. She hopes to return to New Zealand iu the spring. Dr. Douglas Sibbald, late of New Zealand, whose people now live at Hampstead, and who was for some time surgeon of tho British Hospital in Paris, is now at tile British Hospital iu Buenos Ayres. Dr. Wohlroann, .the Government Bal.neologistat Rotorua, and Mrs. and Miss Molly Wohlmann arrived in England last week, and are staving at the York Hotel, Berners Street. Miss Wohlmann has gnno to the country to visit relatives, but Dr. and Mrs. Wohlmann (who is. also a doctor), have to stay in London in order that the latter, who was seriously injured in a riding accident in Rotorua, some time ago. may be under the care of a Harley Street specialist.
