Reverting, during a conversation with a representative of The Dominion last evening, to tho question of the Southland coal land leases, and particularly to Mr. Brighton's contention as to his titles, the Prime Minister (Mr. Massey) said: "Mr. Brighton is entitled to the fee simple of tho surface area.
