SPEECH AT WESTPORT. (By Telecraph—Special' Correspondent.) .Westport, February 5, At Wcstport to-night tho Hon. F. JSI. B. Fisher delivered an address'to a very large audience. The member for tho district was on the platform. • Several questions wjero asked and answered satisfactorily. A vote' of thanks and an invitation to Mr. Hassey to visit-the' district was passed nuiid great applause. ' To-morrow morning at seven o'clock Mr. Fisher leaves by tram to the terminus of the railway, and then thirty miles on horseback to Karainba. Ho return to Wcstport on Friday night, and leaves for Nelson and.'Blenheim, overland, at daylight. on Saturday morning arriving at Blenheim on Sunday night. On tho following Monday morning ho will bo pro- ■ sent. at tho unveiling of tho Cook Memorialat Ship Cove, in Queen Char- ■ lotte Sound. . The reception which, has been accorded tho Minister right through, his. tour of tho West Coast has exceeded tho expectation of tho most ardent Reformers, and a general desito lias been expressed at tho conclusion of every meeting that Reform leagues should bo formed in each oentro. on the coast.'
