(Rec. December 25, 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, December 25. Following the severe heat, a cyclone and wind storm, accompanied by heavy rain, hail, and lightning, passed over Matong, 330 miles south of Sydney. Buildings were unroofed and chimneys blown down.." The damage to crops and property is estimated at.,£2000.
