SHIP'S CAPTAIN SUSPENDED. By TeleEraph—Press ABsociatlon-r-OopyrljrM (Eec. December 16, 5.5 p.m.) Adelaide, December 16. In connection with the Wonga Shoal Lighthouse disaster in November last, the Marine Court has suspended Captain Jones's certificate for one year, and granted him a chief officer's certificate for that period.
The sailer Dimsdale, from BaMa, collided with the lighthouse on the Wonga Shoal on November 18. The structure fell with a crash, and disappeared in the water. The two lighthonseJceepers perished. The vessel was undamaged. The loss was estimated at .£20,000.
