A SPLIT IN THE BANKS. By Telegraph—Press Association—Oopyrleht London, December 15. A National Insurance Practitioners' Association has been inaugurated by medical men who are willing to workyunder tho Insurance Act. '- At the meeting of the new body speakers expressed strong dissent at the attitude of the Medical Association. It was alleged that pressure amounting to terrorism had been exercised upon members favourable to the Insurance Act.
INDEPENDENT RELIEF SERVICE. (Eec. December 16, -9.5 p.m.) London, December 16. Tho doctors' majority against the Insurance Act is largely increasing. The "Daily Telegraph" asserts that Mr. LloydGeorge will initiate an independent medical relief, and appoint whole-time dootors in the districts where medical officers are unavailable.
