The school garden competition in connection with the Wairarapa P. nnd A. Society has boen judged, and resulted in Gladstone apjain gaining first 1 place, with 70 points; Clnreville was second, with OS points; Feathcrston, 65 points, third; Belvedere fourth, and Dalefield fifth. The .Cartci'ton School did not enter for the shield competition. Tho winners of the individual i>lots were: Gladstone, Gladys Grant, 1; Doris Mason, 2. Clareville, j{. Phillpotts, IC. Goodiii, and F. Osfcorne, 1; A. Cameron, J. Price, and S. Smith, 2. Featerston, C. Burt and W. Saundars, 1; B. Savage <md A. Pe-sne, 2. Belvedere School, P. Sparks and J. Bond, 1; R. Ply nnd W. Rathbone, 2.
