MOVEMENTS OF WARSHIPS. H.M.S. Drake, flagship of the Australasian Squadron, now in port at Wellington, will leave for Sydney at 6 p.m. on December 11. H.M.S. Cambrian, which left Wellington for Lyttelton on Monday afternoon, will Teturn here on Friday. This vessel will remain in New Zealand waters until the end of December. H.M.S, Torch left Auckland for Wellington at 0.15 a.m. yesterday. She Lb due in port to-morrow morning. Admiral Sir George King-Hall will return to Wellington by the Cambrian on, Friday. While at Lyttelton his Excellency will, pay a visit to the British Antarctic exploring ship Terra Nova. Mr. Cecil Palmer, secretary of the Navy League, was engaged yesterday in making arrangements for members of the juvenile members of the league to visit H.M.S. Drake while she is in port. ADMIRAL'S MOVEMENTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) Christchurch, December 3. H.M.S. Cambrian, second-class cruiser, flying the flag of Admiral Sir George F. King-Hall, commander-in-chief of the Australasian Squadron, arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington shortly before 7 o'clock this morning. ■CommaJider E. R G. 'R. Evans, R.N., second in command of Captain Scotfs Antarctic expedition, accompanied by Lieut. H. L. L. Penneil, R.N., paid a visit on board the Cambrian to Admiral King-Hall, .who was interested in everything connected with the expedition, and who promised every assistance. in connection with tho fitting out of the Terra Nova, which is to sail for the Antarctic on December 14. The Admiral paid a visit of inspection to the King George V Seamen's Institute, and later joined the second express for tho south, making a short visit to Rangitatci, as the guest of Mr. G. Dennistoun, Peel Forest. He will return north on Friday, and will leave on board H.M.S, Cambrian that day for Wellington. NAVY LEAGUE FUNCTION. Arrangements have been made for tha juvenile members of the Navy. League to visit the flagship, H.M.S. Drake, on Thursday. The secretary (Mr. Cecil Palmer) has notified the headmasters of tho various schools. -
