By Telegraph—Press Association—CodjtlsM (Rec. December 1, 5.8 p.m.) New York, November SO. Three negroes attacked the deputysheriif at Shreveport, Louisiana, and beat him until he was ■unconscious. The negroes escaped to tlie woods, but were recaptured, and were being takento gaol when a mob overpowered the guards and hanged the negroes to trees in. a neighbouring swamp. SEIZED IN COUET. ■ (Eec. December 1, 5.5 p.m.) New York, November 80. A negro at Cerdele, Georgia, was alleged to hare shot and wounded two white women, and then assaulted one. He was arrested, and about to be tried, when a mob assembled in the courthouse, overpowered the guards, and dragged the negro screaming outside, where they hanged him to a tree.
