There Wβ been further Suffragette pillar-box outrages in the. city, including eom'e at the General Post Office, Where acid was poured in the mails, despite the police watchers. Many merchants are refraining from -using the pillar-boxes. Mrs. Pankhurst, in a speech at Leicester, said the militant Suffragettes tried breaking Government property, but this was without effect) then shop windows were broken, and now pillar-boxes, because they would touch everybody. The agitation could only be stopped by giving women the vote. ■ - ~V I, MR.: LLOYD-GEOEGE HECKLED. London, November 30. ■ Three women were arrested before Mr. Lloyd-George's speech at Aberdeen, hid-, den in a paybox. A supposed bomb proved to be a box of ammunition for a top. pistol. One of the girls made a fierce struggle before the police overpowered her, and her clothes were torn off her back, causing a sensation in the crowded hall. Mr. Lloyd-George was considerably interrupted by Suffragettes during his speech. London, November 29. A girl Suffragette, with a bomb in her possession, was found in a music-hall at Aberdeen, prior to a meeting to be addressed by Mr. Lloyd-George, Chancellor of the Exchequer.
