OVERSEAS CLUB.

ORGANISER WELCOMED AT AUCKLAND. (By TeleErapli.—Press Association. 1 ) Auckland, November 25. A civil reception was tendered to Mr. Evelyn Wrench (organiser of the Overseas Club) to-day on behalf of citizens. The Mayor extended a hearty welcome to Mr. Wrench and his sister. Mr. A. M. Myers, M.P. (president'of the Auckland branch of the club), also spoke. Mr. Wrench said he had found New Zealanders had a tremendous conception of Empire, and he had come here to learn the patriotic outlook of New Zealanders, rather than to teach them anything in that direction. He hoped to visit some thirty centres in the Dominion, and. also to go to South Africa before returning to London.
