o ._ VICTORIA COLLEGE: NEW SCALE PROPOSED. At tho monthly meeting of tho Victoria College Council: last evening Mr. C. Watson moved:— "That at its next meeting the council submit for the approval, of the . Minister a new scale of fees in all subjects, and that the Financo Committee, after conferring with the Professorial Hoard on the matter, bring up a report to. Ihe council." The motion was seconded by Mr. T. R. Fleming, and carried unanimously. The chairman (Mr. Chas. Wilson) remarked that he thought the motion was a proper one. Sir Robert Stout said ho was sorry there were any fees at all. He personally would-be very glad if they could do without them. ~"
