In tho morning and early afternoon ho received somo important deputations, end officially opened the new Chief Post Office, in tho afternoon. Mr. Massoy, with Mr. Rhodes and Dr. Pomaro, will visit Waiuku to-morrow, v;hcro a banquet will bo tendered them. Mr. Alien left for Wellington by the Main' Trunk train this evening. Mr. Herries lcavw for Wnihou to-mor-row to open a new post office there, and ho will bo tendered a banquet at To Aroha on Friday night.
