The onlookers thought that Hagerty could have finished matters half-way through. } In a preliminary amateur bout, Sl'Grath: (Timaru) met North (Dunedin). There we're six 3-im'nnte rounds and M'Grath got the verdict, but this was the occasion of some dissent.
