The ■ letter was" accepted! •-.The Works Committee made a report regarding the proposed' dedication of two strips of land by the owner of the : Sear Itomi Tunnel block, and it was resolved that the-council accept the dedication of ■the. strip, along Broadway .widening'purposes, ■ provided 'that' the owner of adjoining land construct a foot-' path'. along > the strip to the ; satisfaction of the engineer. .; ■ • .-...' .'-.' The Tramways Committee discussed the conditions of the issue :of concession' tickets for . apprentices: ■ : It. was - decided; that it be a.recommendation to the-.City-Council that the age-limit be 18, years and. tho wages not more than , 15s. per week'. The applicants arc to furnish a oprtificit.te from; employers. Tho tickets are available on 'workers' "cars onlj, amF'will , ' be issued from tho City Council office.
