WANGANUI SHOW.

Mr. Sam Cirady gives a diver cup as points prize in the fat stock classes. One of the most attractive exhibits at the last Wanganui show from a grazier's point of. view were the fat stock classes. Although the bulk of the prizes for fnt cattle were carried off by Mr. Frank Jloore, he met with keen competition. In tlie fat sheep classes the sheep which carried off the. first prizes at Hastings, at Jlanawatu, and at Hawera. all met, and after a keen contest the palm was carried off by local sheep. This year the association have catered -well for fat stock breeders. The high prices ruling during the winter months have been too tempting to induce farmers to keep back their prime sheep for show purposes, but the Wanganui Association hope to tee- all the classes well filled. There are eo many classes in the , fat sheep schedule that every farmer could easily pick out a pen. There arc also classes for light and heavy-weight long and fine-woolled lambs. In those classes tliera are two awards, one made by the judge in tho show pens and the other by Home experts on the values realised in the London markets. Exhibitors are to forward entries at once, as Hie 30th instant is the date of closing entries. '
