FISTICUFFS IN THE SENATE. By TeleEronh-Prcss AeEOCiatlon-CoiiyriirM Melbourne, October 25. An angry sceno has occurred in the Federal Senate. An interjection by Senator Oliaiauay (Queensland) . roused Senator Givens (also of Queensland), who rushed forward in a lighting attitude. Members intervened, and forcibly prevented Senator Giveus from striking Senator Chataway. After an unseemly wrestle, Senator Givens was hustled back to his seat. ANOTHER CONFLICT WITH MR. WILLIS. Sydney, October 25. In tho Legislative Assembly, Mr. Fitzpatrick, member for Orange, and the Speaker again came into conflict. Tho member evaded removal by walking out of tho nouse. Ho returned and voted on a division, but the Speaker noticed him, and ordered his removal. Mr. Fitzpatrick claimed that tho bar was down. An angry wrangle was ended by tho Speaker sending for tho police. Mr. Fitzpatrick was removed, protesting loudly that tbo Speaker was manipulating the Government majority.
