FOOTBOARD ACCIDENT.

♦ ANOTHER CONDUCTOR HURT. A serious footboard tram accident liefel Conductor Grant in Cuba Street yesterday morning. It is understood that the accident is of such a nature that the injured conductor will bo incapacitated for some time. At tho timo of tho mishap he happened to be standing on the footboard, and when the tram was passing a corporation dust-cart lie collided with it, and wna thrown heavily to the ground. Both his hands were severely cut, and a tooth was knocked out. Besides being badly shaken, ho was much bruised about the chest, and sustained a cut over the left eye. Drs. Tolhurst and Holmes attended the case.
