PLEDGE SIGNING CAMPAIGN.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.} Wanganui, October 24. Messrs. Bedford and Dawson, who are on a pledge-signing campaign in the interests of No-License and Prohibition, addressed a meeting hero to-night. The object of tho pledge was fully explained. A motion was unanimously carried urging the adoption of tho simple majority and endorsing tho pledge not to vote for any political candidate who would not undertake to remove or substantially reduce the present unfair handicap
