Mexico City, October 17. The Chamber of Deputies has precipitated a crisis by demanding the resignation of President Madero and tho Cabinet. General Diaz, a nep'how of the ex-dictatorl is heading a new insurrection. Ho has' captured Vera Cruz. The rebels havo sent an emissary' to Faris to try and induce ex-President Diaz to return and head another revolution. AMERICAN GOVERNMENT ALARMED (Rec. October 18, 9.25 p.m.) Washington, October 18. The Government is alarmed at tho gitua. tion at Vera Cruz, Mexico, and has ordered the cruiser Des Moines there to protect Americans. Bluejackets will bo landed if necessary. All the revolutionary elements arc joining to overthrow President Madcro's Government. The capture of Vera Cruz by the rebels is part of a great plan ngninst tho Government.
