LIVINGSTONE CENTENARY.
*. WOKLD-WIDE CELEBRATION OF MISSIONARY'S BIRTH. On March 19 next the centenary of tho birth of David Livingstone -will be celebated, and the London Missionary Society, which had the honour of sending hiin to Africa, is making arrangements for tho commemoration, which will, however, hoof a national character. Tho Archbishop of Canterbury will at. tend, and probably preside over, the great demonstration to bo held in flic Albert ITall on tho evening of March 19, and plans nro being vigorously developed for similar celebrations in Scotland, Australia, and America. A Livingstone exhibition is being organised in tho Royal Scottish Museum. Edinburgh, as well as one in tho rooms of tho Royal Geographical Society in Piccadilly. The London Missionary Society intends lo open a special fund to commemorate Livingstone's unique work, and hopes to,raise .00,009 to maintain n Livingstone jaembrial station, '
