THE FISHING SEASON
The trout-fishing season of 1912-13 commences to-day, and doubtless many keen anglers will be out bright and early exploiting the stream's of the district. On account of the fairly general rains and turbulence of the weather most of the streams within' easy reach of Wellington are not very clear, and some are almost running up to tha winter level. A 'fair number of licenses have already been taken out locally, and it is expected that many more will be taken out before the week-end. -
