SENSATIONAL ARREST.
SERIOUS CHARGES. A somewhat sensational arrest was mndft in Wellington yesterday by Detective-SoN geant Cassells. The person apprehended is William Knox, tailor, of Dixon Street. llio charges against him are of a very serious nature, and concern two young girls, one of 17 years, tho other of 19 years, This morning Knox will he brought before the Magistrate's Court i on four charges of his having used an instrument for illegal purposes. Probably a row aml will bo asked for.
