GERMAN AMBASSADOR DEAD.
BARON MARSCHALL. VON BIEBERSTEIN. By Telceraph—Press Association—Copyrieht (Rec. September 25, 1.15 a.m.) London, September 24. Tho death is announced of the German Ambassador to' Great Britain, Baron Mnrschall von Bieberstein, during a visit to Badenweile in Germany.
Baron Marschall von Bieberstein was appointed German Ambassador in London in June last. Ho would have been 70 years old on October 12 next. He came from an old Baden family of nobles and officials. His grandfather was a Cabinet Minister and his father a judge. He himself was educated for the Bar and hewn his public career as Crown Counsel. After a dozen years of practice as State Prosecutor ho entered politics and was elected to the Reichstag. When Count Herbert. Bismarck retired from the Foreign Secretaryship, Herr von Holstoin handed over tho office to Baron Marschall. The deceased Baron was afterwards German Ambassador to Turkey.
