Sir George Doughty, M.P., the wellknown Grimsby shipowner and fish merchant, is visiting Canada, and has interviewed the .Government with a view to tho immigration of English fishermen to populate the Pacific Coast and ultimately form the nucleus of a Canadian naval reserve. The Government has given tho proposal a. sympathetic reception.
