INDUSTRIAL CORPORATION.
CONFERENCE TO-DAY. The Industrial Corporation of New Zealand is a body which meets when tho occasion arises or when it feels disposed to discuss things in general. It was established hi 189", in which year the first conference was held in Christchnvch under the presidency of the late Mr. Samuel Brown. The delegates present on that occasion were: Messrs. A. S. Biss and Peter Hutson (Wellington); .T. A. Frostiok (vice-president), 11. B. Kirk 1 nnd J. Bromley (secrotnry) all of Christchurch. There was another conference in Christchurch in 1301, still under the presidency of Mr. Samuel Brown, of Wellington. Others present then were: .Messrs. P. Hutson (vice-president), 1!. E. M'Dougnll, J. K. Triggs, J. M. Horsnby, W. Ley, J. Mitchell, G, T. Booth, W. Miuson, and A. W. Beaver. That was the last conference held—eleven years ago. '
The delegates to the conference to lie held to-day will be: Messrs.. I'. Kerens (president of tile Canterbury .Industrial Association), J. B. Lanrenson, of Christchurch; 'S. J. Harbutt (president of the Auckland Association), J, M. .Wilson, THodgson, T. E. Whittori (secretary), of Auckland, L. E. Partridge (president of the Wellington Association), F. C. Crease, S. S. Williams, J. P. Luke, T. Bollinger, and H. F. Allen (secretary).
