A new industry, nnd ono of importance to the wliolo Dominion, lias just bren established in Napicr ( the .Acetone Welding Company having installed a plant for the manufacture of liquid air and nitrous oxide: Tlio company has been working on a small scale for some timo in the manufacture of dissolved acetylene, whjch has revolutionised the welding industry and already the monthly output uniounts to 1J tons of gas for nil parts, of tlio Dominion. At present nil the nitrous oxide used in the Dominion is imported.
