There was a large attendance df buyers, and a most success-ful-sale resulted. The § whole yarding' of sheep, with -the exception of one small pen, 1 changed hands at price??, in most cases, in favour of vendors. The majority of the cattle also sold well/ and,, amongst others, we sold' a line of 15 springing heifers.at £8. A full yarding of pigs sold at good prices. *; Messrs. James Macintosh and Co. report 'having hold their weekly salo in thoir Masterton (Waipoua) yards, on Wednesday. when they olFered a yarding well above advertised numbers. Tlie sheep entry was practically all hoegets, which met with very- keen - competition, and the whole yarding was sold. The cattle entry was keenly competed for, and practically the yarding was sold under- the hammer.
