DAIRY INDUSTRY.

A HiOFOSED INQUIRY. The appointment of a special Parliamentary committee to consider the necessity of appointing expert analysts to assist the dairy industry by measuring the moisture content of butter and cheese is urged by AEr. I\ W. B. Greville in a petition which was presented to the Home of Representatives yesterday by the Hon. A. L. Hordnum. The petition states that owing to the absence of the expert assistance recommended, the industry incurred during-the past year a loss of X' 25,000, and thatfcinless something is dono the loss will increase as the dairy output increases. J.t is suggested that the. committee should consist of the members for the following districts as those most vitally interested in the proposed inquiry:— Maiaura, Palmcrston, Pahiatun, Stratford, Mamtkau, Egni'ont, Fraaklin, and Taranaki.

"There's money, in it/' is an observation sufficient in itself to .make the average factory manager cock his ears. And if ho has any "go" in him he gets attlie root of the. matter in doubi&suick'. time. This accounts for the preat success of "Victor" Vats—there's money in them, as dairy • men quickly realise. ; Better send alonp that order to-day. Albert <1. Parton, Carterton-— Advt. .
