Maeartby was presented to Parliament by the Public Trustee, acting under instructions by the Board of Trustees constituted under the will. Under the will property of tha estimated value of ,£232,000 has been bequeathed to' the Public Trustco in trust for charitable and educational purposes in tho Wellington province t and subsequently a sum of .£12,500 required to provido certain annuities will bo held for tho same purposes. Tho ditties are estimated at i'oo,ooo. The petition was presented to Mm Houso of Representative* yesterday afternoon by tho Hon. A. L. ilcrdmau (Minister for Justice).
