ARMY PRIZE COMPETITION. By Teleeraph—Press -Association-Copyright London, August 30. Mr. S. F. Cody won the .£IOOO Array prize in a competition, open to the world. He used a bi-plane. A Deperdussin nicaoplane won the second prize (42000 J. Mr. Cody also won ,£IOOO for a bi-plano of British manufacture. Bristol monoplanes secured two third prizes—£soo each. (Rec. September 1, 5.5 p.m.) Berlin, August 31. The National Aviation subscription has reached £300,000.
