EGMONT SEAT.
MR. WILKINSON AT ELTHAM. (By Telejrrapli.—Press Association.) Eltham, August 31. Mr. C. A. Wilkinson, tho Reform candidate for tho Egmont roat, in an address last night, said followers of tho Reform party were strong on tho freehold. He advocated preferential tariffs and combination with Australia and Canada in naval defence, which was absolutely necessary. He favoured Labour combining for betterment and protection, and also some reform in the tariff.
