Trouble is looming between the New South Wales coastal steamship companies and the wharf labourers. Judge Scholes has stated that unless the conference tomorrow settled the differences he would be compelled to delete the arrangement regarding seamen working in holds along with the preference clause. The Glamorgan colliers have resumed work, and aro referring the dispute ns to deductions from their wages for time lust in the stoppage of work after a fatality to tho Conciliation Board.
