MR. WILLIS AGAIN.
REPORTERS EXCLUDED. RESENTS A NEWSPAPER ARTICLE. SPEAKER'S HEAVY HANDBγ TelceraDh-Press Asfociation-Cocyrlzhi (Kee. August 30, 1 a.m.) Sydney, August 2!). When the representatives of the "Daily Telegraph" presented themselves lit Parliament House this afternoon they were informed by. the Sergcnnt-at-Arms that they would not be permitted to enter the Importers' Gallery. It is supposed that the Speaker, Mr. Willis, has taken this method of resenting a leading article in to-day's "Telegraph," commenting on the. Speaker's action in ejecting Sir. Cohen, as reported yesterday. Later. , Mr. Willis, in a memorandum, states that the "Telegraph" writers, in their article, were guilty of contempt, and were wilfully inciting members to interrupt the orderly conduct of business. The publication was an abuse of the privileges granted to the press in Parliament House. The statements were misrepresentations of facts, misleading to the public, and tho writers were, disrespectful to the Speaker. Tho Scrgeant-at-Arras has been directed to exclude the "Telegraph" representatives from tho room set apart for their use and from the Press Gallery.
