MOUNT COOK COURT.
At the Mount Cook Police Court on Saturday, before Mr. T. S. Lambert, J.P., tho following cases of drunkenness were dealt with '.—Frank Lawson, who had been bailed out, not appearing, was fined the amount of "his bail, 10s., or forty-eight hours' itnprisonmont; Patrick Michael Moriarty was fined 55., or twenty-four hours' detention; William Reid (with previous convictions) was fined 10s., or fortyeight hours' imprisonment. A first offender, on bail, who did not appear, was fined the amount of bis bail, 10s., or fortyeight hours' imprisonment. An elderly first offender was admonished, convicted, and discharged.
