Advices from Kingston, Jamaica, state that a passenger, attired in priestly robes, was refused permission to land, on the ground of being an alien suspected of participation in an explosion plot resulting in the destruction of tho Presidential pallace at Port au Prince, the capital of Haiti. The passenger, who was subsequently allowed to come ashore, claims that he is a British subject named Ernest Fossey.' He denies tho charges, and alleges that lie was roughly treated by the Haitian police, and intends appealing to Great Britain.
