A BATTLE IN TIMOR. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Rec. August 2G, 0.35 n.m.) Lisbon, August 25. A great battle has occurred in the Portuguese colony of Timor, in tho E<ist Indies. The native rebels were defeated, leaving 3000 dead, while dOOO were captured.
