General Mangin, with four thousand French troops, is within 75 miles of Marakesh, the stronghold of tho Moorish Pretender, El Hiba, and is preparing to dash thither. ■ El Hiba's influence is so great that it will be necessary, after occupying Jlarakesh, to pursue' him to the Sahara. Several newspapers have received reassuring news. Although El Hiba holds Marakesh, there has been no looting of the bazaars. It is believed that arrangements aro being made for tho safe conduct of Frenchmen to tho coast.
