MUTINEERS SENTENCED.
LARGE BATCHES SENT TO GAOL. By Association—Conyrietht St. Petersburg, August 22. Five of the sappers who mutinied at Tashkent on July 23 have been sentenced to death, 112 to penal servitudo for varying periods, and 70 to hard labour. Fifteen have been sent to a disciplinary battalion. Seven were acquitted.
