THE SYDNEY BILL. By Teleeraph-Press Aesociation-Copyrieht Sydney, August 23. A Stock Exchange deputation interviewed Mr. Cafmichael, Minister for ,Labour and Industry, regarding the Gas Bill. Tho press was not admitted. Mr. Carniichael made a subsequent statement. He 6aid the deputation had agreed to the principle of the Bill and to most of, its provisions, but considered tho interests of investors should be conserved. It had been suggosted that tho assets of tho company be capitalised, and a dividend of 5 per Cout. on the total paid. Ho had informed then) that he.wris not prepared to crystallise tho large profit the company had made in past yeacs,. and which, should havo gone to the general public in the direction of a reduction in. the price of gas, into dividend-paying capital, ■ \
