When the jurymen fouA<l Mrs. Florence Bernstein not guilty on a charge of murdering her husband while ho slept, the State Attorney (Mr. Weyman) denounced the jurymen, violently pointing out that tho woman's only explanation was that she could recall nothing before or after tho shooting. Mr. Weyman declared that women wore rarely convicted in the United States when tried before a, male jury. The only remedy was to empanel women jurors. Only women, he» said, can read a woman's heart. Tho interests of justice demand women juries.
