ANNUAL MEETING.' . . During the .course of the annual meeting of the Canterbury Sheepownors' Industrial Union of Employers, Mr. D. D. Maofarkne said he would'like to make reference to the important and valuable work done by the Freight Reduction Committee originated in ■ Wellington 'sixteen years ago. In that time.freights to the amount of J!2,100,fl00 had been saved'to the wool growers of New Zealand without injuring other shipping companies.
